New Technology Purchases Coming Soon!

$ SHOWING US THE MONEY $

The 40th Street High School Media Center has been allotted $1,000.00 to spend on some very needed equipment. Planned for this shopping spree are the following:

ELMO Teacher's Tool TT-02S/Digital Document Camera
http://www.visualedtech.com/elmo/TT02_ed.htm?gclid=CLHIjKCktpICFQJzHgodOQuSkQ
*We bought two of these last summer, the older model, and they proved to be extremely popular, especially in the science labs where they actually connected them to microscopes to look at slides. This is the latest model that we can connect to computers, TVs, LCD projectors, and yes, the microscopes. List price of $692.10 was the same at several sites we compared including Touchboards.com, Protech Projection Services, and Cousin's Video. We estimate 12% shipping and handling cost to be $83.05 for total price of $775.15.

Projector Cart for the new Elmo's travels--we are down to two options (impromptu teacher poll...see below!)

*Bretford carts have held up well for us. We located this nice piece here for $199.00, and with estimated shipping at 12% to be $23.88, our total price comes to $222.88.

*This one can run a little less money, but we had some height concerns. It runs $158.95. and with estimated shipping at 12% to be $19.07, our total price comes to $178.02.

***Those of you who have used our current Elmo's, please weigh in on the cart-debate by Friday, April 4th. Drop a note in our mail box. Thank you for your continued support!!!***
